How soon will my BioMat ship and how long does delivery take?
We ship quickly from the USA with tracking. Most customers receive their BioMat within 4-6 days, depending on location. Signature required on delivery.

What’s your return window?

What’s the warranty?
Manufacturer’s 3-year limited warranty. Keep your order confirmation for service support. After 3 years, Richway offers the CARE Program (replacement option) and a Trade-In Program (30% credit toward another Richway product).

Is it FSA/HSA eligible?

How long should I preheat the mat?
Preheat for 15–20 minutes on most settings. For high-heat sessions, allow up to 40 minutes so the gemstones and layers come fully to temperature.

How hot should I start if I’m new to heat?
Begin around ~104°F for 20-30 minutes, then increase time and temperature gradually over several sessions.

What heat and session length should I use?

• Gentle reset (95–105°F): Great for relaxation, wind-down, and overnight use. Use in up to 2-hour cycles as comfortable.

• Recovery day (105–130°F): Ideal for 30–90 minutes to loosen tight muscles, soothe minor joint/back aches, and support comfortable movement. Up to 2 sessions/day at this range.

• Deep-sweat session (130–150°F): 30–60 minutes for an at-home, sauna-like sweat when heat is trapped with a towel or mylar layer. Once/day at this range.

• Very hot (150–160°F): Advanced users only, 30–60 minutes, once/day. Always start shorter and build gradually.

How often can I use it?
Low/medium heat can be used daily (even multiple times/day). At high temperatures, limit to one session per day.

Should I wear a cover or clothing—does it reduce the benefits?
A thin cotton towel/cover or light clothing improves comfort and protects the surface. It does not reduce far-infrared warmth, negative ions, or PEMF where included.

Can I pair the mat with a sauna blanket?
Yes—use the full sweat setup if you’re heat-acclimated:

• Preheat the mat 20–40 min.

• Run mat + blanket at high heat (≈ 130–160°F) for 30–60 minutes, based on comfort.

• Head stays out, hands/arms inside the blanket.

• Place a towel or cotton cover between you and the mat for comfort and surface protection.

• Hydrate before, during, and after; electrolytes recommended for long or hot sessions.

• Keep controllers uncovered with airflow

• Stop early if you feel lightheaded. Limit high-heat sessions to once per day.

What about hydration and electrolytes?
Drink water before and after every session. For deeper sweats, consider a light electrolyte (no heavy meals right before).

What should I wear?
Light, breathable clothing or a thin towel layer. Remove metallic jewelry from heated areas, especially with high heat.

Does this model include PEMF, near-infrared (NIR) or red light?
Yes—this model includes NIR heat and Negative Ions. You can use them with low or high heat. This model does not include PEMF or red lights.

Is this BioMat FDA-cleared?
Yes—BioMat® is FDA-cleared Class II (510(k)) for specific indications. Keep claims within those uses.

Any common-sense cautions?
If you’re heat-sensitive, pregnant, have cardiovascular concerns, implanted devices, or you’re recovering from illness, choose gentler settings and consult your clinician. Always stay hydrated, and stop if you feel unwell.

How do I clean and store it?
Unplug and allow to cool. Wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth; avoid harsh cleaners. Store loosely folded in a dry space; do not bend sharply or store while warm.
